When it is time to upgrade a product line, sometimes a total re-design is not required. Then replace it with a metal version, giving superior strength and aesthetics, with the top priority being to make assembly a lot easier for the average DIY'er.
Discreet fixing hides wall mounting screws and makes easier fitting for the end consumer.
Venerable plastic living hinge replaced with two part locking jaw.
Improved strength by swapping existing plastic component with die cast zinc in the new design.
Hard wearing high gloss painted or plated finish.
